Silver curb chain 'sea opal' abalone Mother of Pearl shell pendant necklace

I saw a necklace similar to this on a Bahamian Island and decided to use it for inspiration to make my own. The necklace is silver stainless steel curb chain with a hook style clasp. I used a large pendant made of 'sea opal' , or Paua Abalone and Mother of Pearl. The abalone shell displays a beautiful array of iridescent rainbow colors with hints of green, blue and red. The necklace is intended to hook in the front, as depicted in the photos.
